Castle Concerts
Duo Helia Sunday 30 November
Duo HeliaDuo Helia, formed by recorder player Kristy van Dijk and lutenist Manou Schreiner, grew out of their shared passion for early music while studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Their performances are distinguished by an authentic playing style and the bringing to life of historical stories.
Manou specialised in the lute and theorbo after starting out as a guitarist, and is now active in various ensembles, baroque orchestras and solo projects. Kristy studied recorder in Amsterdam and The Hague, performs as a soloist and ensemble musician, and is a member of, among others, The Royal Wind Music.
With their programme The Wedding Feast at Cana, they bring Veronese’s famous painting to life through music, featuring works by Ortiz, Monteverdi, Castello and Falconieri, among others—a celebration of colourful Venetian sounds from the 16th and 17th centuries.

Farkas Wind Quintet

Herman van Kogelenberg – flute First flute of the Munich Philharmonic since 2013. He previously played with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. He is principal flute of Orchestra Mozart and a guest with, among others, the Berliner Philharmoniker. He gives masterclasses around the world.
Hans Wolters – oboe Principal oboist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007, following positions in Sweden and with Het Brabants Orkest. He has performed as a soloist with, among others, the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra and Combattimento Consort. Principal oboe instructor at Codarts Rotterdam.
Marcel Geraeds – clarinetist. Clarinetist, conductor and entrepreneur, performing with all the major Dutch orchestras. Winner of the 2012 International Conductors Competition Macon (USA), he has since pursued an international career as a conductor. Bringing classical music together with high tech.
Fons Verspaandonk – French horn Since 2004, French horn player with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Previously performed with Het Brabants Orkest and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Regularly performs with ensembles such as Camerata RCO and Combattimento Consort Amsterdam.
Remko Edelaar – bassoon Since 2003, principal bassoonist of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and a member of Het Muziek (formerly ASKO|Schoenberg). As a soloist, he has performed with, among others, De Nederlandse Opera and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

Vespucci String Quartet

Vespucci QuartetSince its founding in 2009, the Vespucci Quartet has performed at leading festivals and venues in the Netherlands and abroad. They have been heard on the radio and opened the new wing of the Van Gogh Museum in 2015. Their CDs featuring works by Mozart, Dvořák, Haydn, Webern and Brahms were released on the Footloose label. Alongside concerts, the quartet develops innovative projects such as Kreutzersonate (film), Prokofiev Moves (dance) and children’s performances. With the series Vespucci & Friends, they collaborate with musicians, actors and directors.
Spring Fair at Kasteel Daelenbroeck
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2026, Kasteel Daelenbroeck in Herkenbosch provides the enchanting setting for a magical Spring Fair.
This special event, held on the historic outer bailey and the enchanting castle square, will get visitors in the mood for spring with a varied selection of antiques, garden furniture and other inspiring springtime items.
Historic charm meets spring.
During the Spring Fair, this special venue will host a diverse range of stalls featuring distinctive pieces from a rich past, beautiful accessories, and inspiration for the home and garden.
The Spring Fair takes place in the intimate setting of the Forecourt, within the castle walls and on the atmospheric castle square. This makes the fair not only a shopping experience, but also a cultural and historic occasion.

Maria and Nathalia Milstein

Duo Maria and Nathalia MilsteinThe sisters Maria (violin) and Nathalia (piano) Milstein grew up in a Russian musical family in France. Their debut album La Sonate de Vinteuil (Mirare, 2017) received international acclaim and was named CD of the Year by Volkskrant. Their second album, Ravel Voyageur (2019), was also awarded a Diapason d’Or.
The duo performs at leading concert halls and festivals across Europe, including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, BOZAR Brussels, La Roque d’Anthéron and the Wonderfeel Festival. In 2024, they released their recording of all works for violin and piano by Schubert on Mirare.

Gypsy live concert on Saturday 25 July
Gypsy guitarist Lollo Meier delivers top-flight gypsy jazz. Lollo Meier grew up in an elite family of gypsy musicians. His style is inspired by Django Reinhardt’s music and is traditional, melodic, sensitive and upbeat.
He composes a great deal of new material in this gypsy jazz style. His compositions have a refreshing, authentic Django flavour, and he plays with extraordinary virtuosity. He is regarded as one of the guardians of Django Reinhardt’s musical legacy. His playing is elegant, lyrical and full of joie de vivre – music that dances between melancholy and zest for life.
Lollo Meier has recorded numerous albums over the past 20 years. He performs at all the major jazz festivals, both in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2013, an extensive film about him was made ('Lollo's journey').
The Lollo Meier Quartet also features experienced musicians Bert Smits (violin), Bram van Es (rhythm guitar) and Melvin Könings (double bass). For this occasion, the quartet will be joined by Happy Hendrix for a refreshing and unique collaboration.

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026, Heerenlanden Events, in association with Kasteel Daelenbroeck, will host the seventh edition of the popular ‘Christmas and Vintage Fair’ at the unique venue of Kasteel Daelenbroeck.
This enchanting event has become a regional tradition, offering visitors a magical Christmas experience in a historic setting.
With 14th-century vaults as a backdrop and blazing fire baskets adding to the atmosphere, visitors are welcomed into the Upper Castle of Kasteel Daelenbroeck. New Year’s Eve Party
The Main Castle is the setting for today’s “New Year’s Eve” celebration. You will be welcomed from 19:00 with a festive cocktail. We will then serve a culinary dinner (partly buffet-style). Of course, standard drinks are included in the price throughout the evening.
At around 22.30, all partygoers will move to the beautifully decorated ballroom in the Main Castle. The cocktail bar opens at 22.30.
The party continues in swing style; Paul Chapman and friends are guaranteed to get you all on the dance floor.
At midnight, welcome the New Year with fireworks and Champagne on the rooftop terrace.
From 12:15 a.m., an extensive tapas buffet will be served while the party continues until approximately 2:00 a.m.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements no later than one week before the New Year’s Eve celebration.
